Let’s give him the reception he deserves tomorrow, what a player he was for us. The ultimate box to box midfielder. That hip injury prevented him a crack at the premier league I’m sure. That goal against Brighton in the play offs never seems to get any recognition, his turn was Bergkamp vs Newcastle esque. Top player

Bergkamp vs Newcastle esque 😂😂😂

I hope he gets a great reception, probably the best of any former returning player in recent memory anyways.

The way the club let him leave without even announcing it was absymal, even more so considering he played that last month for Wednesday at no extra financial gain.

Not bad for a 2nd choice RB.

Good player, deserves a standing ovation. But, despite the Wednesday haters on here, he’s a million miles from the player he was and we will win tomorrow. UTO.

Agreed, and people wanted to sign him again...

Carlos rushing him back for the play offs against medical advice backfired spectacularly.

Wonderful footballer in his prime , and we shouldn`t have let him go , but the overriding feeling on here was from the clear aht , younger, hungrier  mob.

Hope he loses and has a stinker but deserves a good reception before and after.

Should never be forgotten how he gave everything, risking career ending injury, as his contract was coming to an end with us. In marked contrast to some of the other players in the same situation.

Cracking player, definitely one of my favourite ever Wednesday players. Deserves a brilliant ovation, then on with the game and 3 points please Wednesday.
