mcmigo
One of the great footballing roasters, despised by pretty much every club he has managed including his current one. Jos was delivering the brief - save the club from meltdown, by releasing all the top players, getting kids in and somehow staying up to restart. Bruce turned up late , brought back and recontracted a broken goalie on huge wages, signed the woeful borner, odebajo, lined up the crock Luongo on big wages and blew the last chance we had of financial salvation. He then left on the eve of a season and cleaned our staff out so badly we started the season with an estate agent in charge. One of our worst ever managers. In there with Pulis and eustace. 1 1

Holmowl
We saw enough in his brief time here to be optimistic that he’d have taken us up. We lost 3 games in about 20 in his time here. And his contacts and acumen was finding us some gems. Wish he’d stayed, and I’d have him back tomorrow.

0742
I enjoyed the football far more when he was manager than I have with any of the fückwits we've had managing us since. 1

To be fair he didn't have a chance to have his descions work for him did he. Only because they were bad after he went doesn't mean they wouldn't have been good for him. Jos was carrying out the brief we needed carrying out to stop financial Armageddon. DC bottled it and hired Bruce.

The points deduction would have happened regardless of whether Bruce was in charge or not. The damage was done long before Bruce became manager. Jos was delivering no brief. He couldn’t sign players due to an embargo. Similarly neither could Bruce, which is why we signed a load of free agents before he jumped ship. Financial meltdown was nothing to do with any of the managers. You’re twisting history big time here. It was down to one man and one man only. Only thing you have a point on is Westwood. But then again, how have we done for goalkeepers in the past couple of years?

Probably the unfittest Wednesday performance I’ve ever seen. Players absolutely puffing out their arse after 25 minutes. Forestieri couldn’t even be arsed to warm up at half time. He came on and pulled his hamstring and was out for weeks. Jos was a shambles.

Bruce's track record in his managerial career stands up against all the other incumbents of the S6 hotseat during the Chansiri period. He isnt my cup of tea personally but the fact that he is the only one of our ex managers to be still managing in Englands top flight is a big clue that he's a fairly decent manager.
