Newcastle takeover.

Recommended Posts

Cannot see him lasting, did well at Bournemouth, not so great in a 6 month or so spell at Burnley.

Newcastle......the fans that think there entitled to everything and immediately with an eye opener.

These are the fans that bitched and moaned for over 30 seconds until the ref checked to see if Ross Wallace had the ball in the quandant for a corner....a corner FFS.

Moan, moan, f'in moan, them and Liverpool both the same, and Sky just suck it up and blow smoke up the R's.

Hope they get relegated with less points than the pigs.

Gret fànnies.

Absolutely gutted that Howe has got the job. Means he's back on our screens doing post match interviews now. I can't stand the way he talks, his teeth don't move. Looks like a ventriloquists dummy that's not wired up right.

Are your teeth supposed to move when you talk?

I mean, Howe has just secured his retirement fund. It wont end well for him in footballing terms but personally he'll be set.

They are going to be looking at any players who are big names struggling at top clubs - Coutinho, Ramsey, Lingard, Martial, etc.

They'll sign no decent defenders and continue to concede loads of goals with their Championship back five.

Absolutely brilliant deal for Howe, 2.5 years wages for a job that will last 6 months.

If he's keeps them up, they will replace him with a big name, European manager who can attract the names that Eddie Howe won't be able to . If they go down, he's gone immediately.

Let's face it , this isn't going to end well for Newcastle. Those names you have mentioned are bang on the money . ' star' players who won't get anywhere near the first teams of Man City,  Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool.  They will also loses out to Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham as players prefer to be in and around London.

Basically they will be lucky to be 8th choice for players, no matter how much they offer. There is only a finite amount of money players need now. It's not like Ravenelli and Juninho going to Middlesborough or Carbone going to Bradford .These days players don't need to go to the less desirable parts of the country for money.

"Eddie Howe, he's meant to be good isn't he? they were saying he's a future Arsenal or England manager. Let's get him then"

Journalist should have asked how do you feel to be 2nd choice.if your that good shouldn't you have been 1st choice.

6 months at Burnley ? try 18 months

That disaster is airbrushed out of his cv

Sky News understands Chairman of Premier League Gary Hoffman is close to resigning 18 months into the job amid clubs’ fury over Newcastle deal.

Sounds like some clubs are after him because the takeover went through so quickly … one article mentions Burnley and suggests it’s the clubs outside the big 6 that are most annoyed.

Interesting conversation today

Apparently there is literally zero business nor football infrastructure plan and only plan to spend, spend, spend until it works

They are fuming about the kit deal with Castore and desperately trying to get out of it to sign with one of the big boys. Adidas preferred due to history.
