I’m not sure about your geography knowledge of English counties Snoots, or have they changed a boundary when we weren’t looking🤔

Don't you start as well! Bad enough that Cleggers has chimed.

I  future I shall refer to it all as Mercia.

Should never have ditched it!

Thought Gibson looked good nice to have a left footer at cb and brown did alright when he came on as for johnson he must have had a 90% pass completion to their side 1st half

Wing took over in 2nd half. Seriously. I missed Johnson giving the ball away so many times. I remember 2 may be 3 bad passes in first half. But none that cost us anything other than possession

Thought a few of our players deserved a positive score. All negative is a bit harsh.

Sat in the Mansfield stand with the oldest born. Managed to feign disappointment when we scored.

Wildsmith 7

Hunt 6 looked dodgy at times

Dunkley 6

Gibson 7 Looked assured and calm on the ball.

Johnson 7 thought he did ok and was better on the right.

Dele 8 was impressed as he was strong in midfield and kept the ball. Rode quite a few challenges as well.
Wing 6 frustrating as had good touches but also gave the ball away stupidly in bad areas. Was at fault for their goal I thought.

Corbeanu 8 nice to see a player who likes to take on a man.
Sow 5 didn’t do much

Berahino 6 did ok

Kamberi 3 Only gets a three because of the goal, was awful and gave the ball away so many times.

Palmer 6

Shodipo 6

Brown 6

Probably the best referee we seen all season so far. By quite a way.

Yes, she was excellent, not as easily fooled by the players. I was in the Mansfield stand and they didn't do much moaning either. By the way there was not a single offside flag. Very rare.

Positives for me from tonight:

Wildsmith did well.

Gibson looked very good and was hopefully only taken off to save him for Saturdays game. Calm and assured on the ball.

Corbeanu was exciting, pacy and skilful. Needs to start on Saturday.

Kamberi and Wing took their chances well.

Easily the best referee we have encountered so far, this season.

Great away support again for the Owls on a wet and windy night.

No injuries to key players, ahead of the Bolton game.

UTO!😂👍👍👏

Johnson at fault for their goal…only player at fault for their goal

Gibson was the main positive even though he only played 45 minutes.

If Hutchinson is not fit then we are in desperate need of not having to watch Dunkley and Iorfa faff about with it at the back and having a left-sided CB who will be more comfortable on the ball in that position is a positive.

Corbeanu's hit and miss when it comes to end product but he has something about him. Dele Bashiru unsurprisingly much better in the centre of the park than on the right-wing.

Johnson can cross, he shouldn't be asked to play full-back though as he keeps getting caught out.
