It's time for Ian Holloway.

This squad and division is perfect for him.

I think he's the man for the job and we need to get him in now.

Dinosaur manager for a dinosaur mentality football club.

He’s been garbage for years and was a huge part of Grimsby going back out of the football league but he made a few quirky comments a decade or more ago.

Holloway has 3 promotions on there but in his last few jobs he’s looked a has been manager

That's the thing.

I don't think you can necessarily judge a managers suitability for the job today by something they achieved many years ago. Times move on, football changes, the way you coach and manage a team evolves. But not necessarily the people who do the managing.

ian Holloway, to me, is a manager of the old school variety. Obviously has the personality, likes to play football a certain way, probably never going to change. And it has to be said that looking at his career, there are probably two failures for every success.

Past it.

This is impatience is draining. Sacking managers has got us nowhere. Moore needs time.

we need to start seeing improvements in the side though, almost a quarter of the way through the season and we still don’t have a settled side, he doesn’t know his best 11, his tactics and style of play are shocking. On paper imo we have a decent squad especially for this level but they aren’t giving their all for Moore (maybe they don’t know what their jobs in the team are) but also Moore doesn’t seem capable of getting them fired up and giving everything.

Holloway will be far more interested in looking after his chickens these days.

I loved his enthusiasm at Blackpool but that was over ten years ago.

It's all part of the quest.

It's almost biblical.

Many years in the wilderness seeking the light... wandering alone and chicken wrangling.

Until his true destiny reveals itself...

He finds himself on his knees on the south stand bridge...he looks up with tears in his eyes.. barely able to speak..

Then a hoarse whisper...

we go again Ian...

Then louder..

WE GO AGAIN IAN!!

Then he runs over the bridge screaming..

WE GO AGAIN

WE GO AGAIN

WE GO AGAIN

Like a maniac and saves the club..

Moore needs to stop being happy with us having a good 45 minutes. Stop confusing average players with tactics they either don't understand or don't have the ability to put into practice. Get a basic system and practice that every day untill it sinks in. Stop making excuses for below par performances.

so frustrating how pathetic we started the game yesterday, was a shocking 45 minutes. Why aren’t the players fired up for the 1st half? Playing at home we should have taken the game to them.

Yep so let’s give him time to get it right.

Sacking the manager isn’t going to be the answer. Just like sacking Monk wasn’t, just like sacking Pulis wasn’t.

The club has a six point impending points deduction and 3 months ago was facing a player mutiny over a series of unpaid wages. We’re starting to recover - this will take time. This demanding for instant success and belittling of what is a very tough league is so short sighted.

On paper means nowt. It’s a group of players cobbled together and it will take time to gel.

Am I questioning some of Moore’s decisions? Absolutely. But is getting rid going to fire us to promotion or just being a sticking plaster over a club which still is in a fairly precarious structural and financial position?
