I still maintain that Wednesday need a dynamic big character as a manger to be successful - Jack, Ron Carlos(ish) and maybe Howard - all big presence with something about them - we need to find that again

Thought Bruce was it too , just ended too soon

He could be back soon !!!!

Poor bloke. He never sounded that inspiring from the start, but now he’s under pressure it’s making him look unintelligent and monosyllabic. Looks like he’s been over promoted and would be better off as part of a proper managers staff. I almost wonder if he actually needs putting out of his misery. If we as fans are starting to think he’s inept, what do the players think? Really hope he turns it round against Bolton, but have real doubts now.

Ryan Lowe is still learning his trade, but watch some of his post match interviews and you will see someone totally at ease with his role.

People talk about "gelling", but that's not really the problem.

It's about knowing what you're doing.

A good example is when Jonesy took over from Megson.

Not his players, not his team, yet within a very short time we were playing a very different style of football and chalking up the wins.

Not listened to it, just back home and calmed down a bit after a 3hr+ drive.

Dogshit today from the first whistle, not interested, no shape and looked like they had never met each other before.

10 games in and we are regressing. Appalling movement, no consistent attacking threat and defence all over the place. What the fizz do they do all week on the training ground.

These are in the main experienced players, most used to playing. two games a week in the championship so that shouldn't be an issue.

Oxford aren't a good team, not bad either, but ran around and knew what they were doing, it was embarrassing at times how easily they ran through us. Can't really comment on our midfield as it was non existent and our attack (if it can be called that) is a joke.

Given the timewasting which started from the kick off in the second half, they didn't deserve to win that game, but we managed to gift the points to them.

I'm a Moore fan, but that today was unacceptable, not a one off performance either and simply not good enough. I can see where we are trying to go off the pitch, but on it is embarrassing.

We have been listening to this guff from i don't know how many manager's. They must think we sit with our eyes shut when watching games. Get a grip Moore and give some good rollokins out and lay down the law. Tell them perform or they don't play. We are playing in the 3rd division. These player's should be good enough to play at this level. uto

Talks absolute sh..te, we were poor today played on the back foot only payed when we reacted, totally over run in midfield. Honesty rather than cliches required and Moore is nowhere near. UTO

Got to feel sorry for him now. He’s clearly a bit of a simpleton.

Oxford were by far the better side in every department today. Attacking with pace, picking up the second ball 99% of the time, closing us down quickly time and time again so we kept giving it away and their defence with Thorniley looked good. We had none of that, yet again. Erm.

And then Burton left and he completely lost the plot...until Stuart Gray came in
