Daily reminders & expectations.

Reminders...

1) The past cannot be changed.

2) Things always get better with time.

3) Overthinking will lead to sadness.

4) Positive thoughts create positive things.

5) You only fail if you quit.

6) What goes around comes around.

I think October & November will be our defining moments for the season. In October 12 points are needed and November at least 7 points.

Any more and our season could turn out to be better than expected or hoped for.

October...

v Oxford  Win

v Bolton Win

v Wimbledon Lose

v Cambridge  Draw or Lose

v Lincoln Win

v Cheltenham Win

November...

v Gillingham Win

v Accrington Lose

v MK Don's Draw

v Wycombe Win or Draw

Have you just got home from a "Wellness" retreat???

I only agree with points 1 and 3......and thats only if you replace "will" with "can"

Come to think of it.....plenty of people on here seem to have the ability to change the past so now I'm questioning point 1 also.........lol

I don't know. I'm not saying I don't appreciate the sentiment because I do. It's just I feel like a "reality check" should consist of facts, not a handful of motivational quotes and some score predications.

You are right... maybe not reality just wishful thinking.

Not sure about that myself. At the moment I would say the team is in need of some motivational and inspirational support; leadership if you will.

Stats and facts are very important and pay the wages etc, etc; but you have to be careful not to get bogged down in the detail, which can happen very quickly especially when things aren't going your way!

Point No.2 is crackers, most things get worse over time, especially bad things.

And the last 3 points are nonsense, the jury is out on point No. 3, but other than that, yeah great post. lol

Thanks, I knew I could rely on your support and commitment. 😉
