Entertainment?VFM?...we just expected to put up with footballers kicking a ball around and think whooop****ingee?....

The whole purpose of the game is to move the ball FORWARD and towards your opponents goal, get in their third,18 Yard box,and get in shots on goal, cross into the box,win throw ins, free kicks, and corners.penaltys  by ATTACKING....often,in numbers, and with pace & power....

Anyone not want to see that?  Its Division three ffs!!!!!!!!!!!!!1  Not the Champions League...

What we frightened of? Ronaldo signed for WW or Accrington & ive not seen it?....

Totally agree. I want to go to a match and see my team attack the opponents with a proper formation and plan to do so.

Trying to win by hanging onto single goal leads for over HALF A DECADE saturates the players with nerves and creates a culture of failure.
Try outscoring the opposition and keep at it.
Works wonders for confidence.

Sick of turning up at Hillsborough and hoping for a good performance instead of expecting one.

Seriously can't remember the last time I left at full time with my voice hoarse from cheering and singing due to a dominant display.

Arsenal in the cup for me.

I always think, if you had money on it or paid for tickets and travel, your opinion is always going to be biased. Leaning towards the harshest possible way...

I didn't go or have an Acca on, so I just see it as a silly mistake, he'll be embarrassed by and Burnley will be grateful it's happened for us and not them. He'll be better for it.

Yeah, let’s get rid of the manager because Accrington and Rotherham are above us. A well balanced thought out argument.

Cut and paste back from any of my posts where i have suggested 'getting rid'of our manager?? stop marking your own homework,& answering your own Q...

What i have said is that SWFC should be going for an automatic promotion spot, not just a play off place, and that as a side we should be capable of doing what the sides you have referenced have......

The fact we havnt speaks volumes about the abject failure of our current systym of playing, tactics subs & game management.

I want us to play attractive, attacking football, stop playing a lone striker up front with no support,& stop needlessly  playing it out and going nowhere in our final third(rather than our opponents) with BB looking more lost each game,in my view.

I want that to change   Now if you want to disagree or critique that view  go ahead

I am impatient by nature but......We need to see where we are after 15-20 games.  It may be too late then for a promotion charge but we can’t keep changing managers.  We did sign 14 players and it takes time to bed in.  The difficulty of getting a new squad to gel and working out your strongest team should not be overestimated.

We would have won yesterday but for an individual error.  You can’t really blame Moore for that!

Gone from lets see where we are after 10 games(pretty much a typical view before the season started from most) to 'lets see where we are after 15-20 games'

DM systym will not just magically start to produce the goods..Its a poor Division,& we are struggling to score goals or put together a winning run.....

That isnt by accident,we dont create enough goal scoring chances because of our systym. Our Players/team in my view are as good as/better than most in the Division(whoop****ing eeee) eh?

How bad do we have to get before DM will instigate change??

Look at Barnsley, play out from the back, result? escape relegation cutesy only of Wigan, change manager, adopt a direct style,....get into play offs the following season...(think about that, relegation fodder to play offs...Quantum leap) This Year?building on that success?

Change manager,go back to 'a footballing style' and now struggling to put together results and have drawn 3 & 2 lost their last 5 matchs i believe....?  117th(or even 17th!!) in the Championship.....

Last post match interview i heard from him was like he was reading the same script as DM.... takes time to gell, seen positives, etc etc

I’m hoping Darren Moore's luck changes soon. Last two games, he’s seen his captain miss a penalty and then his keeper make a schoolboy error.  Both were mistakes which cost us two points each. We’d be 5th now, 3 points off top spot if both players had done their job properly.

So personally I think it’s too early to be piling pressure on Moore who simply cannot legislate for errors like that. I accept that we have not looked convincing other than in small patches, but agree with those who say that the squad needs time. If we are still under achieving come the end of October, then Moore might merit more criticism.

Are they though?

Im not saying they are or they aren’t by the way

The vast majority of the signings were all unknown to me and I’m guessing also unknown to nearly all of our fans when we signed them

Since then they’ve not stormed the league or anything so we can’t go on their performances for us

So we have to go on their last record and stats

But nobody seems to know them

So I would suggest our squad is a squad of unknown ability at this stage.

And it’s a squad of free signings

I have a sort of second  team - MK dons - as it is close to where I live and kids get in free. So I often pop in there and watch their games , so have seen how they have progressed.

under Paul tisdale, they played boring and mainly long ball football which just about did enough to stay up

they then moved to Russell Martin who introduced playing out from the back, and to be fair the defenders made mistake after mistake doing it. The left back lewington has been there since they were Wimbledon and you don’t suddenly change a player who started nearly 20 years ago overnight. but they stuck with it.

this season the 3 times I have seen them they look certain to go up . They have a goalie and defenders who literally never go long , are all now comfortable in tight space and on the ball; and they pull teams apart very easily.   They play one up front but it’s a very fluid midfield .

that took two and a half seasons , but they are now there and I will be amazed if they aren’t promoted automatically.

we are giving our players a handful of games before demanding we go back to 4 4 2 and aimless punting.

we need to give this time, it will work in the end.

My expectations for this season were pretty low and so far I’ve not been disappointed.  People tend to get far too excited at any sign of success, and predictably those first 4 games prompted a real overreaction, despite performances being relatively poor.  Let’s be honest, how many people were proclaiming Peacock-Farrell the best keeper in the league on the back of one decent penalty save?

For me, the biggest positive so far is that we don’t appear to be in any danger of relegation (unless suspended points deduction kicks in).  I would be happy enough the let Moore have the rest of the season to try and prove a shot at promotion is a realistic ambition for next season.  I accept this will be seen as lacking ambition by some, but really can’t see anything to be gained by further upheaval this season.

would have won yes if the keeper didnt do yet another fumble but the law of averages if u only have 2 shots all game you dont win many games or score many. darren moore is shot regards what to do ,i honestly think he just dont know what to do now , he decided on this system and tactics ,they have had loads of free weeks lately to work on it and if anything its getting worse ,all this give a manager 2-3 years based on what? he has the same back line bannan in midfield and new players mainly in wide striker rolls this wont make any difference in 12 months as there all have left and gone back to parent clubs . scoring 7 goals from 9 league and cup games at this level is dreadful and its bloody boring . no wonder most of our  away supporters drink them selves silly as much to beat the boredom watching us.

I mean, you can't legislate for the sheer idiocy of that equaliser, but I'm not overly impressed with what I've seen this far.

Lots of talk and very little delivered on the pitch.

But we would have won if he’d not thrown the ball into his own net

Everyone would have said crap performance but got the points in a tricky away fixture

We would have been back to winning ways

Confidence would have returned

We need historically mate to be more than 1 goal up to be sure of winning a game, just how it is.....Knowing that we need to set up so we can  soak up the mistakes (we know really) we are going to keep on seeing, whether its BPF or a defender droppiing a clanger

To do that we need to set up to attack quickly and score more goals...We will not do that in my view playing it out.......

In terms of rebuilding the team we have had a revolution it would be difficult to see how a team could gel in the short term .

evolution is generally the way forward ,time is needed but there are signs of things coming together, patience is required.

Very early days. It will take time to get this style working.

defenders need to get more comfortable receiving the ball in tighter spaces, and further up players need to gel better .

no point going back to 4 4 2 and punting it, we have played that lots over last 20 years with absolutely no success.
