striker
Prefer him in defence, but to be fair he was one of the better performers last Saturday. Noticeable that he was holding in midfield and during our good spell in the opening 30 minutes allowed Bannan to play high up the pitch in their half.
Popular Post Mike Hunt
Get him back in defence. If Moore is going to persist with playing it around at the back we cannot play Dunkley
Popular Post jp1981
I prefer Hutch as a CB. He seems a lot calmer their than in midfield. I'd also give him the captaincy.

SallyCinnamon
Urgh why change it. Play him in defence. Hunt Iorfa Hutchinson Brown Lets get a settled back four. Please don’t say Moore will fall in the trap of making the same mistake as other managers and convincing themselves Sam Hutchinson is Steven Gerrard in disguise.
bradowl
Prefer him at back now. We seemed to only have one player in midfield during second half against Shrewsbury and that was Bannan, rest of them looked knackered and kept giving ball away.
Holmowl
Didn’t like him playing in midfield in his prime. Certainly not now.
Bouncing Owl
I thought he was ok at CDM at the weekend. There were worse performers on the day for sure. But I do prefer him at the back. Also brings a calmness back in defence and distribution is much better than iorfa and Dunkley and Moore seems to want to play out from the back.

mcmigo
Sam Hutchinson is a terrible midfielder now. But a good centre back . 3 hours ago, @owlstalk said: Darren Moore "You will see players play various positions and players pick up new positions that I feel they can play in doing a job for the team. Devonstrix
Hutchinson should certainly be able to play the midfield anchor role at this level.
Fast Forward
How come we fans know Sam’s midfield days are behind him, but the manager does not?
Owlabroad2001
Hutch will play in midfield until Luongo comes back as there is no other defensive option in there. And please don’t say Byers as he couldn’t tackle his own grandmother!!

PortlandOwl
Hutch back in defence please. He adds nothing in midfield, especially home matches and Dunkley is too slow.
Billy Hunt
Thumbs up from me on this one. Great philosophy to use on Football Manager.

To get the Wednesday job do you literally have to leave your brain cells at the door? Hutch is a Rolls-Royce at CB at this tinpot level, he is committed, reads the game brilliantly, decent in the air and is a great footballer. This is exactly what Moore needs at the back if he wants to play like he's doing. Shunting Hutch into midfield leaves the door open for Dunkley to start, which nobody with eyes wants to see. But it also sends out weird signals to the 58 other central midfielders we have at the club. Completely bizarre, but hey, a lot of us saw Hutch playing attacking midfield away at Wigan. When I saw that I thought someone had slipped something in my overpriced Carlsberg*. Never boring at S6 *not a euphemism
