Awful yesterday, again. Byers should be ahead of him, shame he took a knock, would prefer to see Dele-Bashiru ahead of him right now.

Now lets not go too far

Dele-Bashiru lacks the technical ability of Wing but he more than makes up for it in terms of desire and commitment, that's what makes Wing a weak point in midfield when he comes on.

Played as a number 10 at rovrum, deep CM for us. Played under a manager with a plan at rovrum, you’d argue right now we don’t have a clue what our plan is!

There’s a good player in there, too good for this league if we can use him right which is in that 8 / 10 position. Might mean that Bannan has to drop deeper.

Yeah exactly
He's not gonna succeed being asked to do that

But Bannan isn't as effective when he's deep so it's about what is best for the team deep wing forward Bannan or the reverse of that. Probably worth the try playing Wing further forward.

Quite simply we have one of the best players in the league here in Wing

If we don't play him in the position where he excels he will be wasted and even worse criticised and hated on by fans who don't understand he's not in his natural position doing what he can do best

Exactly this.

So you're saying it's Moore's fault he looked poor? I get players may struggle if asked to play our of their 'natural' and best position but the manager surely wouldn't risk the team performance by doing this - or would he?

I'm just saying if you have the league's best striker and play him at left back not only will he not be able to excel and do the job we know he's capable of, but the fans will probably see him struggling at left back and boo him and slate him saying 'he's not very good is he?' and before you know it you get calls for him to be dropped
