DUNKLEY SPEAKS OUT

Saw Dunkley quite a bit for Wigan in these league and he was immense. That leg break must have made a difference to him as he’s struggled for us, and looked poor today.

He was a beast in this division, I saw him a few times, hes a shadow of the player he was, like you say hes very tentative now, doesnt take risks, backs off, indecision has crept into his thinking.

Hes done in league football, his bottles totally shot, shame very good lower league player, just not championship level, way too indecisive for the level above, switches into neutral about the 80 minute mark, like Borner did, engines empty and mentally shot.

“We pride ourselves on winning games”

”We pride ourselves on clean sheets “

And then Darren Moore, “We only stuck to the game plan for the first 45 minutes so we’ll be looking at that in training “

So for half of the match they threw the game plan out of the window…. do they all suffer from short term memory loss.

The first thirty minutes Berahino could have had a hat trick

Agreed.  Had we made it 2-0 from the penalty we would have been coasting.  We played some nice football at times.  We are lightweight and as the second half continued we ran out of ideas and became disjointed.

It wasn’t great yesterday but

I don’t think our situation is any where near as bad as some are claiming.
