Very true, which once again makes them a pointless exercise particularly when it comes to our fan base.

They are pointless IMO. Excuses like the opposition raise their game against us. Like we didn't know that would happen?

Anyway our players should always be giving 100% effort no matter who they play. Other excuses such as we started slowly, we were off the pace, there was no sense of urgency, we need to gel and so on, also wear thin given our squad for this league.

What happens on the pitch is key, not what is said off it.

To me this is very simple

There is zero issue with players and managers doing interviews at any time whether it’s post or prematch or midweek - no issues at all

The whole situation is so easily sorted simply by those edgy fans who say they’re not interested in what the players have to say - simply don’t read these threads, watch the interviews or read their interviews

And if you do accidentally, once you’ve recovered from such a traumatic for you simply just move on and don’t chip in with comments on how they should do the talking on the pitch (which is like saying someone should breathe to survive)

If the edgy fans simply didn’t read what they say they’re not interested in reading the problem goes away

THEM

And then the players can crack on continuing to do the interviews for the rest of us - Which they always have done and always will do

Bunch of f**kin strollers.

Still fuming at last weeks latest exhibition of 'complacency'...

Ditch the playing out from the back and negate the high press - or at least have someone mobile up front alongside Gregory.

Match the opposition for effort and we might turn the pedestrian possession into results.

Say what you want about our fans, but i think you'll be hard pressed to find another club who's fans love to spite at each other more than ours.

Deary me. It's almost as if some on here can't wait for something to be posted they can jump on and slate our fans for.

Thing is, press conferences are a waste of time because it’s all about actions on the pitch rather than words particularly with our fans 🤣

If you feel this way, why not just ignore the press conferences and posts about the press conferences? Seems you’re wasting your time commenting on things you think are a waste of time ?
