sternlad
Rarely, would you ever get all 11 players at 100% energy and effort for 100% of the time. Pie in the sky cloud cuckoo land if you ask me

TrickyTrev
Hopefully this seasons “Stevenage moment”. A kick up the backside is never a bad thing if the players react in the correct way.

They are pointless IMO. Excuses like the opposition raise their game against us. Like we didn't know that would happen? Anyway our players should always be giving 100% effort no matter who they play. Other excuses such as we started slowly, we were off the pace, there was no sense of urgency, we need to gel and so on, also wear thin given our squad for this league. What happens on the pitch is key, not what is said off it.

@owlstalk
To me this is very simple There is zero issue with players and managers doing interviews at any time whether it’s post or prematch or midweek - no issues at all The whole situation is so easily sorted simply by those edgy fans who say they’re not interested in what the players have to say - simply don’t read these threads, watch the interviews or read their interviews And if you do accidentally, once you’ve recovered from such a traumatic for you simply just move on and don’t chip in with comments on how they should do the talking on the pitch (which is like saying someone should breathe to survive) If the edgy fans simply didn’t read what they say they’re not interested in reading the problem goes away THEM And then the players can crack on continuing to do the interviews for the rest of us - Which they always have done and always will do 1 Owlstalk Shop

Flat Owl
Bunch of f**kin strollers. Still fuming at last weeks latest exhibition of 'complacency'... Ditch the playing out from the back and negate the high press - or at least have someone mobile up front alongside Gregory. Match the opposition for effort and we might turn the pedestrian possession into results.

Pughies Jockstrap
Nothin annoys me more than footballers talking absolute bo---cks. Must do better - bad day at the office- looking forward to putting things right- we go again - when you just know they are just as likely to serve up the same garbage as the game before. Please spare us we dont all fall for it.

Big Jack
Most comments from players are banal, cliched and trite. Don't bother me nowt wrong with some triva in this world, keep the banter coming. Go elsewhere for high brow material.
