Chris Houghton sacked.

Recommended Posts

Wilder...a big mouth, who wants control over everything and tried to resign/get paid off in his last job.

No wonder clubs are lining up around the block to appoint the scruffy git.

From a distance - and with a peg on my nose - it seems as if the Forest owner wants to dictate transfers, therefore undermining the authority of the manager,

a lot of their signings look very very ordinary.

ultimately their fate is the same as any club stuck in the championship for too long.

they struggle to fund a rebuild and comply with ffp

even though they can legally cheat by doing a Watford and bringing in kasami, bouchalakis, ansarifard, tachtsidis, kapino, Guerrero, Cafu, and Drager - all from Olympiakos.

must just be a coincidence?

Surely?

Silly story about Hughton is my Brighton inlaws have a picture of them with Hughton by their dinning table so whenever we’re there for lunch it’s like Hughton is watching me chomp on some meat and two veg.

Good job its not in the bedroom

😆

Hands up here too. Thought he would have been a great appointment for us. Shows what I know I guess.

When did Hughton manage us?

People conveniently forget he kept them up and we ended up in League 1.

If he could have done that here he would have been a saviour...and a miracle worker X 10 😉

Some actual critical-thinking and self-awareness there.  You sure you're a football fan? lol

He didn’t, he turned us down. Hence “ I thought he would would have been”?

How do you know Hughton wouldn't have been a great appointment for us?

His sacking at Forest doesn't mean he couldn't have done a decent job had he been made SWFC manager.

Surely if it was going to be Wilder he'd be in by now?

May not have been offered it or is asking for too much money?

From what I understand, if he takes a new job he would forgo some of his Dem Blades pay off.

Was told by someone ITK that WBA spoke to him before appointing their current boss , but  ruled him out quickly as they were were staggered at the blokes demands and self importance
