 just one quick question

Pork or beef?

Well......

Funny you should ask this Seventy 3...

In a the modern day Bible adaptation I'd fancy characterising  Adam & Eve as Pork n Beef ......

lol sort of "sex it up" a tad

Honestly, you'd think the concept of 4-3-3 had just been invented.

Probably the most used formation (or some variant of it) for the last two decades?

My Dad played inside left in a 4-3-3 for West Brom, after being conscripted, a couple of years after the war…

I think 4231 or 433 is something we’re committed to now given we recruited to suit that way of setting up.

Playing 442 would’ve resulted in the same outcome if we can’t pick out a pass, take a shot or win second balls. Having the extra man in midfield should really be helping us control things.

In terms of the sentiment of the OP I do agree though that if you focus too much on a trend or style before getting the basics right it costs you dear. It likely cost us promotion under CC and as much as I rate DM I think he might have a touch of susceptibility to that too. I hate seeing a midfield get overrun and not put a foot in. Hopefully lesson learned.

Say it as it is, no point beating about the bush🌳
