prowl
It would be a 10 if we had kept the two we lost to Celtic. Other than that we would need to have pulled of the coup of signing Grealish and Kane to get much better. I'm well chuffed. Now it's down to Moore to get a tune out of them. We do seem to be getting better as a team as the players get used to each other. Just need to improve the finishing. After last night Sow looks like he might smash this league
Pieman
I will add one comment. Big Daz needs a proper contract now. We’ve hit the bottom, weve binned the dead wood, we’ve recruited a great bunch of players, we are operating professionally, fans are on side. Now is the difficult bit in the real world, translating that to results when every other team in the league wants our scalp. Darren is the man to achieve it, with these players - make sure he’s got the right contract to see the job through!
Etchesketch
You cant tell until layer in the season. Look at last year. People thought it was decent and then inuries poor form made it look crap ie Kachunga,Brown, etc etc
CircleSeven
10/10. How could we genuinely have had a better window given our transfer budget of £0? Also not to forget we were toxic after the wages disaster. Now we have a good well balanced squad with a chance to cash in on some of them at a later date if things go well. Money spent? Nothing. It’s absolutely amazing Moore and the team have pulled it off.
pazowl55
I think the fact we kept all of our better players was the best business we did this summer.

Was never optimistic with Monk having had a terrible second half of the previous season with better players. This transfer window has been fantastic, however. We are starting to play much better football, the question might be 'Have we got the physicality for L1?' I think we'll do very well.
Guest Kameron
6-10, need a striker that scores goals and the midfield is woefully short, hopefully the exceptional defence can keep us up there. Expect a comfortable midtable finish as it stands.
ReginaldD
10 in context of where we were a couple of months ago, our budget etc Moore and his team have done a superb job.
CourteenerOwl
9. Would have been a 10 if we had signed a few more wide forwards.
malek
8/10 But this is highest I would rate our recruitment in any window at least since Chris Turner's rebuild work in 2004. I only wish that among 14 that we brought in were 1 or 2 more like Adeniran in the sense that I can see him as important part of our first team squad for years to come or someone who will earn us tidy profit in the future. Most of all, if we survived last season and brought in these same set of players I would have been happy with how well we did.
DesWalker
On paper our business this summer looks great 9/10. Best signing is getting Iorfa to extend, I didn't think that would be possible, but fair play to DM/the club in getting that done. Probably our biggest asset playing wise. Teddy Nickelarse
Now I know nothing's perfect but the recruitment has way exceeded everyone's expectations so I'm still giving it 10/10.
FreshOwl
7/10 Good in terms of numbers, but let’s see how good some of them actually are
Blatter
Think in normal circumstances this would be an 8/10. However, considering the handicap the EFL restrictions the club is under and recent history of late wages, Moore has pulled off several master strokes. Peacock-Farrel,Adeniran, Wing, Sow and Corbeanu could easily have gone into Championship teams. Add to this the re signing of Iorfa and Windass and I would happily rate it 10/10. ChapSmurf
On paper, it looks like we have recruited really well. Given our circumstances, financial constraints (regarding P&S and alleged EFL embargo) and departures over the summer, I'm not sure how we could have done any better. We've filled gaps all over the squad. From where we were on the 1st July to where we are now, it's 10/10 for me. However I did feel like this season would be a struggle, so my scoring is based on that presumption and the possibility that we will now likely be challenging for promotion. It's a long old season though, so anything can happen.
Shetland Owl
10 outstanding for me and all down to Darren Moore getting the players he wants for a change
Owlsbury
7 - Very good squad 8 - If they click 9 - If they score and concede few 10 - if they stay in the top two
Utah Owl
From where we were to where we are now, that's an easy 9/10. Well done!
Road Runner
10/10 Don’t think they have could have done any better, they have built a team and not a team of individuals. Full credit to Moore, Dooley and Chansiri another team that seems to be be working.
Willie Henderson
A solid 9 from me, and if they all work well together then I'll make that a 10. It's literally a different side from last season, thank Christ, or more realistically thank DM. He's doing alright, keep it up big man.
