Suppose this is a test of the manager as much as it is of the player.

If Moore thinks he can handle him and get the best out of him then best-case scenario he should tear this league to bits.

If not then we could be looking at another Jeffers-style mess, worst-case scenario he could unsettle the dressing room.

That's all we need, a striker who barely scores, doesn't play much, and is making a career off the back of one decent season 6-7 years ago.

Another Jeffers.

Risky signing, only need 1 bad egg to upset the dressing room.

When was the last time a signing such as this, or Ravel Morrison, etc, turned out to be a success, for any club?

He's got a bad attitude, and has had multiple chances in his career. I really wish football clubs would stick together and just leave these types well alone.

Eric Cantona? Duncan Ferguson?

2 very good examples of players who did do well after being given another chance. Agreed.

But....

Cantona = 30 years ago he signed for Leeds

Big Dunc = 27 years ago he signed for Everton

Awesome, lets take a punt.

Can't wait for him to score his first goal and see people change from "he's rubbish" to having a proper tug fest over him, give the lad a chance ffs, WAWAW ???

Mario Balotelli a more recent example……. Stick or twist …….. we’ve twisted so the only thing we can do is trust in the manager…….. Could well be an awesome punt!
