Computer Vs phone WiFi speed difference

My pc always has a WiFi speed much slower than my phone.

My phone (next to my pc) will be around 100mbps. My pc when nothing is downloading/not on a meet etc is around 10-15mbps.

I have tried changing the gateway and as far as I can tell, the drivers are up to date.

Any ideas?

How old is the PC? How old is the phone? Does the PC network card support 5GHz Wi-fi? So many variables it’s very difficult to pinpoint the reason.

Probably a few years each.... How do I know it supports 5ghz? I think I run 5ghz on everything other than my doorbell

It might be worth upgrading
Your one can't connect to a 5GHZ connection for starters

So I'm not a techie, but went looking for my network card.... Gone are the days where they are at the rear of the pic with an antenna.

According to the manual, the Wi-Fi connector should be number 2.... But I cannot see number 2 on the motherboard as it appears to be obstructed by the DVD drive and hard drive?!

really?

that sounds like bullshit

Cos then surely you'd have to have a 1000 connection to stream 4k on widows if it reduces it by a factor of 10

Also, what happened to Jowl?
