FFS though think that takes my Benrahma bonus points Benrahma has really packed on mass (in a good way) over the summer break. He's going to have a big season. SiJ
Great performance from him tonight. He's become a truly excellent player. Wasn't here long enough to gain any sort of legend status, but he sure as hell is in the cult hero bracket. Absolute monster in that League One promotion season. Was the best player in that league by a mile imo.

He moved under the right circumstances, not like PDC. Fair play to the lad.
TheEnchanter
His interview was great just then. So different to the regular interviews. Love his attitude and confidence. Top lad and hope he continues.
Baldrick
A quality player Can’t understand why he hasn’t yet been given more of a chance in the England squad Turned our season around in 2012 in those last 10 games
Prince
Breath of fresh air instead of the boring media trained puppets wheeled out game after game. Antonio is a class act and his personality had me smiling after the game.
FreshOwl
If he was a few years younger I reckon the big clubs would be circling, but at 31 it might be a tad too late, who knows His record isn’t to be sniffed at

Skyline
Brilliant player, great personality. Will go down as a legend at WHU. One of those players that isn't world class but gives 110% every game and really enjoys playing the beautiful game. He's one of those raw talents people talk about, not quite the top level product but his determination and effort has worked wonders. Unfortunately for us he's on the same list of players we lost for no where near what they're worth like Whelan and Brunt. Also, how much has he bulked up? Looks like a beast. Said in his interview that he weighs 94kg atm, which is pretty damn stacked for a pro-footballer these days. Combine that with his pace and directness and it is no surprise he's an absolute nightmare to play against. Most modern footballers are barely 70kg. Never really thought about average weight for footballers so had a little look after reading your post. https://www.topendsports.com/sport/soccer/anthropometry-worldcup2018.htm Seems the average is close to 77KG for top end forwards. Antonio has got a weight that really suits his game and the position he wants to play. He was never a small lad but has developed into being the number 9 that West Ham haven't had in the last year or two.

Paul..
And to think when West Ham first signed him he couldn't get a match. To the point that a fan made a troll post with a missing poster and David Gold retweeted it!!!!! https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/34733287
RockieOwl
And when he did finally start playing for them, it was at right back!

mcmigo
So pleased for him. Not a big money signing for West Ham who have spanked big money on other forwards like Carroll, Haller, Ayew, Valencia etc who have not done the business like Antonio has. Works the centre backs all game, he always looks done in when he comes off the pitch, he properly gives it everything every game.
FreshOwl
West Ham sure do look a team though right? They seem to have a well oiled game plan with each player fully understanding their roles. They transition from defence into attack very well. Moyes deserves huge credit Edited August 24, 2021 by FreshOwl

It was something I noticed a few years back: how slight most professional footballers had got. Suppose with the amount of running they get through, particular with the emphasis on pressing these days, it makes sense that they don't want to be carrying too much weight/muscle. Means like Michail, Adama Traore really stand out.
