Completely understand his reaction. 
 

If their are innocent people and kids in the ground, I’d have got up and left 20 minutes in. They were chucking stuff and throwing things all game. Not a safe environment for kids. 

He is trained as a footballer to go down, at any contact, at this moment he is in a weird response phase of going down because he’s been trained to on a football pitch but also realising he shouldn’t go down.

 

No excusing throwing something at a likely innocent person in the crowd. Only football would actually have someone defending a person chucking a bottle into a crowd as you are doing. Have you never been in a night club and a glass bottle has been chucked and hit you/nearly hit you? Is it reasonable in that situation to chuck it back?
