Popular Post Barnsleyowl1996
How great is it when an opposition player runs down the line , you hear the ‘go on’ from their fans , then big Dom strides over and dusts past them in 2nd gear too good for this league : top class 14
SallyCinnamon
Far too good for this level. Top end Championship player. People forget before he lost his way at Wolves, he was very highly rated and played in the same England U’21 set up as the likes of Jack Grealish, Ben Chilwell and Marcus Rashford under Southgate. 6
alanharper
If we get through the transfer window and he's still with us, our chance of promotion is vastly increased. Player of the Early Season for me! As you say, far too good for this league, and if he hadn't got that injury I'm 100% sure we wouldn't be in it now.

Colin Dobson
I think many would agree that the loss of both Dom & Luongo for months was probably the difference when it came to staying or being relegated from the Championship. One of the decent things Bruce managed (apart from signing Borner at least initially) was getting Iorfa signed for 250,000 from Wolves. What a player!
Guest Willow Owl
Don’t always get the “big Dom” love in. But today he was outstanding.

If we don't extend it we will have to sell in January or he will walk for nothing. Much as I hate to say it we might be taking a good offer now if he won't extend. Personally I'd break the wage structure to keep him and give him a 4 year deal. Decent increase if we get promoted and maybe a release clause if we don't go up. It would be better than him walking for nowt.

FreshOwl
He p1ssed a lot of championship games, of course he was gonna moonwalk through this division Don’t think he would have been there if he weren’t injured though Edited August 21, 2021 by FreshOwl
agentwalker
Don't blame him if he decides to leave but would like to think he'd have some sense of owing the club something after being injured for so long.
maldino2004
I’ve been going to Hillsborough since 1970 and have seen some really good centre-backs over the years, Walker, Lyons, Pearson, Thome, Warhurst etc, but I can honestly say that none of them ever had the all round game that Iofa has. I don’t think that he is particularly weak in any area of his game but excels in most. My only worry concerning him is that if we don’t tie him down soon he will end up plying his trade in an higher league with someone else.

Hirstys_12th_Pint
Honestly think Iorfa is Premier League level. Has all the attributes needed. Sounds crazy but think Iorfa would do better in the Arsenal team than £50m Ben White.

Do we sell and get a fee or hold on knowing he may be the piece of the jigsaw which seals promotion? Would any fee we could currently get be worth more than promotion back to the championship? Don’t know the answers by the way, just that in reality the decision is not as black and white as us fans sometimes see it.

Walker played 59 times for England. Iorfa is great at this level, good , maybe better than that at Championship level. I'm not sure he would be noticed in the Premiership. Maybe he will grow into it and excel at that level but right now he's not done it.

He made a squad that made a European Championships Final. Iorfa is playing well in League One against Fleetwood and Rotherham

He’s definitely better in the air and has more pace by a mile.. worse on the ball though which is all these top teams care about when they’re messing about with it in their own penalty area
WalthamOwl
He is way too good for league one. Just hope no other clubs realise that before the transfer window closes.

No disprespect to you mate, but your opinion on Iorfa has got to be one of the most bizzare things I have ever read on this forum and that’s saying something.
