Three points tonight

Recommended Posts

Have to respect the opposition of course, but the aim should be to make Hillsborough a fortress this year - doesn't matter if it's Fleetwood or Sunderland, we have to be on the front foot and expecting to win at home.

There were times this pre-season where I genuinely thought there was a chance we wouldn't be making these fixtures. Then a time where I thought we'd get turned over a few times early doors with an U-20's team. I'd be absolutely delighted with 3 points tonight however we get them, and I think 7 points from the first 9 would exceed expectations and put us on an excellent early footing.

I would change 3-4 freshness

Me too. Byers needs to start with Bannan. I'd like to see Brown get a start as well.

These clowns have had far more success than we have in the last 20 years.

Play off final for a place in Premier League.

Play off semi final for a place in Premier League.

League Cupe 2nd round other year.

Football isn’t won on paper.

I’d love to see us storm the league but you never know with us.

1-0 tonight and I’ll be happy.

7 points from 3 games will be really good.

Spot on.

Would take any win tonight, obviously would like a 5-0 but I’d take any win, 7 points from 9 is a decent start for a team that is yet to gel and settle. I’d take a 0-0 at the weekend too then we have made a very good start IMO.

The win is the key tonight

What I want most of all is another clean sheet

Me too. My BPF clean sheet monitoring thread will get Thread of The Year, winning me a full compliment of Owls Talk polo shirt, baseball cap and hoodie that I shall wear with pride for my fishing matches, publicising the Owls Talk brand all around the country.

Might as well let me have them now. We can consult later about sizes.

April this year against Cardiff.

Mind you TBF the previous time we'd actually scored three at home was April 2018, against Notts Forest (3-0), the first scorer being McGeady. Imagine, we never scored more than 2 at home in a full calendar year.

So you would rather we keep a clean sheet than slot 5 goals past them?

Yes mate

Love a good clean sheet me

Cant beat it

Walking off that pitch knowing you’ve kept a clean sheet

Clean sheets all the way

If we keep a clean sheet every game we are guaranteed to finish champions
