Donny have been getting down the flanks at will, had they have had more of a cutting edge they could very easily be leading this. Wing and Adeniran are complete passengers and Bannan is back in his quarterback role. John Bostock is running the midfield unbelievably. Hope he’s not a ‘well we kept another clean sheet’ manager. We need to go out and impose ourselves and look to win games - something lacking so far. beswetherick Posted August 14, 2021 Share Posted August 14, 2021 Kamberi and Green have been our brightest players so far, but we need more support from midfield when going forward. It’s just coming straight back. Donny are pressing us high up the pitch whereas we’re sitting off them and allowing them to bring it out of their half - but then we can’t get enough men forward quickly enough. Hopefully we try and turn their defence and get in behind the full backs more often, that’s when we’ve looked most threatening and both their full backs are on a booking already.
