A situation where we are signing lots of players but of what quality.... so far we have 3 strikers who have played most of the games last season but scored 3 goals!!! Last season showed just how everything depends on goals. We had not a bad defence and midfield wasn't too bad but with not scoring goals you don't win for ages and confidence disappear s through out the squad. We have Iorfa which is fantastic but we did have him for a while last season and we were not transformed with him because he can't do it all and can only do his bit not score goals week in and week out. Well have to wait and see how things pan out but the type of recruitment this summer is exactly what many have wanted. Younger (in the main) and largely unknown potential with a chance of increasing value . This side will need time to gell together but agree goals win games and we didn’t really look like scoring did we?
