But he has got 2 goals from play in his last 11 PL games. Hardly remarkable. But he will have sold the shirts ten times over. He’s almost 37. It is remarkable he’s still playing at the level he is. Ever the pessimist
That Chester player, Bennet, who premeditated a broken leg on Ian Knight. Roy Keane, a similarly disgusting intent to injure someone.

SallyCinnamon
Can’t believe we’re even having a discussion that one of, if not, the greatest footballer of all time is a terrible person on the pitch. A man who it is well documented has worked incredibly hard to achieve the things he has. A shining example to any young player trying to achieve success in the game. BUT NO HE’S VILE

On balance though, it’s better than using racially derogatory terms, deliberately breaking other’s bones, or biting people. SiJ
City one up...all looks a bit ominous. Ederson picked up a knock though. Great finish from Foden for the goal.

SiJ
Seen a lot of Liverpool fans on the Twitter bemoaning how all unfair it is. How you have to be nearly flawless to win the league these days, how they can't compete with a state owned club etc. Tbf, there is a degree of validity in these points - it is very hard to compete with a state owned club with Pep Guardiola in charge. Not so sure about the other argument I've seen floating about that teams don't try as hard against City. Yes, apparently, some teams don't try as hard against City, because Liverpool are a bigger club. You know, beating Liverpool "means more."

Yeah, spent a while sifting through them last night: oil money backhanders to the CAS, teams not trying against City, Leicester fans chanting about poverty, Salah being punished for being pictured with a Christmas tree…Quite enjoyable really. Yeah, they were calling Leicester fans "Tories." A quick Google suggested that in 2019 Labour won all seats in Leicester.
