I'm not argumentative on nights out, only time I've had an uncomfortable argument was in Sunderland actually, just in a normal discussion about football and these lads just started saying highly offensive things about Wednesday and the Hillsborough disaster. I don't really like either of those 2 clubs now, after living in Durham I find a large majority of the football fans in that region to be a bit childish.
