2011/12 2021/22 comparison chart & Graph

Thanks Mark,

It's a really interesting comparison to 2011/12, although we're slipping behind where we were at the same stage, we've lost less but have already had more draws than we had for the whole of that season. So if we could capitulate less and capitalize more we'd be sitting pretty I reckon.

It also shows we've still got a very long way to go, but it's looking quite good for now.

We are way behind 11/12 at this stage of the season, 9 points.

From week 11 in that season we were never out of the top 4 and from week 28 never out of the top 3 for the rest of the season.

This season we have been in the top 6 for only 5 games.

Considering in 11/12 we got 36 points in the last 14 games, it shows what a massive task it will be to get anywhere near our points total that we achieved in that season. Though I do think it might only need around 85/86 points this season to get automatic promotion.

It would be magic if we can get wins from the next four games to put us right back on track. With Luongo back for the Sunderland game, and hopefully a more recognised and firmer defence available, coupled with the attacking flair of Windass, we could start making real progress.
