Charlton Ath -V- Wednesday OMDT

Recommended Posts

Kamberi has been one level of quality ahead of some of the others with making runs and flicks. The one where he peeled off their defender and Hunt hadn't even thought about the pass yet. Later on in the season that will click, hopefully.

So in summary then, we've come here to play football, they've set themselves up to stop us playing football, and so far have succeeded. However, you don't win football matches just stopping the opposition from playing football. At best that gets you 0-0.

At some point, being the home team, they need to try and play some football themselves. That's when they'll come undone because we're the better footballing side once football is allowed to take place.

What are their scrums and line ups like?

Yep, we have definately played the better football..  Charlton seem to rely completely on stockley which he seems a decent player but encourages hoof football..

Looks like Green is the new scapegoat then ay.

I though he looked ok, nowhere near as bad as been made out.

I think it's the herd mentality. A few fans knock him, so a few more join in, then next thing is that everyone just piles in because they think that's the majority view.

Scapegoating players makes them play better every time and helps the team to win. Everybody knows that FFS.

They have had the best chance so far. That header past the post should have been a goal.

We've created nothing. We own the middle of the pitch but we aren't able to create where it counts.
