I think I’d regard Kane as more than just “a sort of forward”

Brown is being used as a winger in a front 3.

 

He came on for Shodipo and played most of the Huddersfield match there.

 

He was better than Green at it.

Sounds like a reasonable line up for the first game. Really want Paterson to unsettle their centre halfs. Can't see him pulling them out of position but will be more of a battering ram.
