LA in January

Recommended Posts

Every major city has areas that are dirtier than others. If you want beautiful clean beaches, the Orange County suburbs have them in (buckets and) spades.

That said, I think Spain in January may be a better bet. I am struggling to see how the U.S. will open up to tourism anytime soon.

Yes seems much lower risk. And as you say, all cities have dodgy parts. San Fran is gorgeous but go near the City Hall and it’s horrific.

Tend to agree, Id give LA and SF a miss. Was in SF 3 years ago, everytime we left the hotel the doorman asked us where we were heading and told us what routes to take. Constantly stepping over homeless and their "mess". Will never return.

You wouldn’t like Denver.
