Like Barry Bannan?

Bannan wasn't our young player of the year a couple of seasons ago. Or if he was, he found it stressful, his hair started falling out.

Byers has a nice parting down the middle.

And on his head too.

Didn't somebody say its a permanent deal. A freebie?

Not sure mate, haven’t been able to get any conclusive proof. Mixed messages all round

I reckon we’ve loaned him and inserted a sell on so if he does great and Swansea then sell him we get a % of sale

Doesn't the fact Moore has signed so many central midfielders suggest Hunt may not be ready for this level just yet, though?

He'll have taken a good look at him, I'm sure.

Perhaps after a loan he'll come back ready for our first team.

Of course you’re right. Moore clearly has a plan.

Bit of a meh signing for me if it pushes Alex Hunt further down the pecking order. Think the lad deserves a chance at this level.

are you alex hunts dad? not seen anything whatsoever to say he will make it . he needs a loan to league 2 for a season

I reckon you just wrote that yourself to confuse me further, didn’t you?

The Owls are pleased to announce the permanent signing of George Byers from Championship side Swansea.

The midfielder becomes Wednesday’s second signing in as many days, following Theo Corbeanu’s arrival from Wolves on Monday.

Copied and pasted for you.
