Byers must have been on a decent wage at Swansea and he still had a year to run on his contract so I 'm scratching my head about how we can afford him even on a free. Good footballer, a central midfielder, one of those who everything goes through. Keeps receiving the ball, finds his passes, keeps play flowing / ticking over.
