Popular Post wilfsmith
Seems like only last week we were all concerned about the club’s reputation and its ability to attract players. Now it seems, with DM’s profile and reputation, we’ve become the loanee club of choice. Here’s more evidence. Wolves Scott Sellars said, “We had a lot of interest in Theo over the last 12 months and we’ve picked a club for football reasons, but also obviously it’s a big club, and the pressure of playing for a big club is an add on for player development.” This sort of growing reputation can only be a good thing! Tea Baggins
I think DM is a huge pull for both other clubs wanting their talent working under him and the club for its size and history.

Kopparberg
Sort of ties into my thread asking if Moore was our best asset. Our other asset is when Chansiri stays in the background. 2

Can you be smaller than WBA and still be a big club? For the record I still think we're a big club.
Ian
What Sellars is basically saying is that they've sent him to us to see how he copes with the flack he will get after his first misplaced pass or puts a decent cross in that no one is on the end of. Our reputation is that if you can play in front of us at Hillsborough then Barca v Real would be a walk in the park for them never mind Wolves v West Brom Edited August 2, 2021 by Ian

I honestly believe players and clubs will see us as more attractive prospect even in league one, with a manager who wants to play attacking football compared to a Monk or Pulis playing negative hoofball.
