His best run of form came when he wanted a new contract.  FACT!

Handily that stopped us being relegated under Jos.

Would have been nice if he had been around last season to stop us being relegated.

Come on.  You don’t honestly believe we would have stayed up with Nuhiu?  Did he score a goal last season?

Seriously, why can we not look to build for the future.

We will have to agree to disagree as I just don’t get the love in with Nuhiu.  He often held up play when you wanted a player running in and taking on defenders.  His hold up and link up play was not in the same league as Hooper’s for example although admittedly Hooper was a crock.  I just don’t get it!

We got rid of him

Exactly what they wanted

I’m going to stop now but leave you with this question.  If he was that good why haven’t another Championship or League 1 club signed him?

I’d have never got rid of him. I think he was very underrated as a sub and a lot of our fans didn’t understand that because he didn’t regularly bang them in, but he was always a nightmare to defend against and created chances against very tired defenders.

Never a starter for me, but I’m surprised another Championship didn’t sign him up as a super sub. I guess he probably wants to play regularly

Just kinda touched on it in my post, I’d guess because he wants to play week in week out 90 minutes, something he hasn’t really done in this country, but his strengths aren’t that

Nuhiu became only the 35th player in the club’s history to have reached a half century of goals for Wednesday, and was the first player since Marcus Tudgay in August 2010 to reach 50 goals in Wednesday colours.

Started only 137 times for us
Scored 50 goals with ease and style

Got rid of him
Got relegated

How many times did he come off the bench?

Last season we salvaged a massive one point from a losing position, in our last game against derby county.  That was very different from the previous seasons in the championship. Why ? Because we released our plan B Nuhiu. He came on and got us points and changed games . Even  off the top of my head, the point against Fulham, the three points against Leeds came from him coming off the bench and changing the game.

as has been said, we stayed up for 7 seasons with Nuhiu then didn’t the first season he was gone.

I’m sure you don’t really believe that Neil. However, if you do I suggest a good holiday might help

I definitely agree on that one but the weather forecast is horrendous this week

The rain this week in Scarborough is gonna fall as quickly and as heavily as our football club did once the Nuhiu haters hounded Adthe out
