It is a different colour. It's just an absolutely shocking photo.

Last year's away? It's grey DPM. I have no problem with DPM but it's the grey which made it dull. If it had been black with shades that might have looked smart.

4, 12, 15, 21 & 23 are all upstairs somewhere. 29 may well be added this year. But overall, 21 is still my favourite.

24 was awful, closely followed by 7.

But actually overall, compared to some clubs, they're not that bad a collection (ignoring the sponsors on some that is)

My favourite out of all of those is number 20, I also like numbers 22 and 25. Number 20 is the most iconic and smartest shirt out of and stands out the most, out of all those for me.

I'm also quite fond of the Chupa Chups era shirts, even despite it being a dire era on the pitch, I like them mostly for the iconic Salvador Dali designed sponsor logo but admittedly prefer the home shirts.

Worst shirt, is more difficult to choose, we've had quite a number of horrific shirts since relegation from the top flight. Went for number 7 but any number of them, with just a few exceptions, would be worthy worst shirt votes.

People just liked it because it was based on the one from the Sanderson days. Out of all the shirts I've owned, I think that was the poorest quality one (materials and construction-wise). One wash and it was a like a dishcloth, then the stitching started to unravel.

I love it, still wear it to my 5 a sides and hasn’t lost any quality… well apart from when I’m in it !

Or its just my Mrs is better at the laundry than yours 🙂

I feel like my entire life has been leading up to this thread!

I seem to remember the green 3rd kit (no.3) was never released for sale due to issues with the company producing them (sounds very familiar).

Worst kit was a throw up between (8) which was cheap, unimaginative and dull (despite the 2005 playoff victory that season) or the orange monstrosity (12) that just reminds me of Franny Jeffers.

Favourite was no9 which looked the part and was nice, light and silky but did remind me of Chris Eagles poncing about for us for a season.

I'd bought every single kit from 1996 right up to kit 10 but with the increasing trend of 3rd kits been used and kits only lasting one season, I started to wise up to the fact that no matter how many shirts I possessed, no matter how much cheap tat and merch I purchased and despite the money I squandered in the club shop; we were still a bag of shirt. As a result I've never bought another kit since.

Slightly off topic but as soon as I see some of the kits I associate them with a specific player:

1: Steven Haslam

3: Alan Quinn

4: Gerald Sibon/ Trond Egil Soldvedt

6: Shefki Kuqi

8: Chris Marsden or John Paul McGovern

9: Chris Eagles

11: Tommy Spurr

12: Franny Jeffers😬

15: Mark Beevers

22: Ross Wallace
