It was always going to be a difficult one with the players they have until a manager could stamp their own authority on it. Slav would have done that in time. Instead of having the patience required, they sack him (allegedly) in favour of the U23 manager which is a totally different kettle of fish completely. If I were a pig fan I’d want to know where the hell all the PL money has gone and why they are having to scrimp whilst the likes of WBA, Fulham and Bournemouth compete at the top of the league.
