I have to admit, I’m more than a little excited at the project that is “United World”!!! Is this going to be like Gulliver's world?

I’m not a strong critic of our Chairman but I very much doubt you’d ever get a direct address from him to our fan base? I mean if you ignore all of Chansiri’s direct addresses to the fans, then you’d be bang on. 1
beswetherick
I’m no financial expert… but an £85m deficit sounds like they’re up shít creek sans paddle if they don’t get promotion while receiving parachute payments (which they’ve already borrowed against)

Plonk
The “snap out of it “ comment reminds me of the classic faulty towers sketch when basil explains to Manuel about how depression is a bad thing. Can’t one of our photo shop gurus reproduce it, with wilder in the role of Sybil.

An £85m debt would mean they owe a flat £85m. An £85m defecit means they're spending £85m more than they earn in revenue, which means they're taking on £85m of debt year on year. Plonk
That £85m losses figure along with the mortgage says they are heading into trouble. Not selling berge is looking like it’s going to bite them up the dirt box. Maybe the Derby fans were pointing fingers in the right direction. Would be typical if that leads to a point deduction for derby that keeps dem blades up.
sheffield_dave
Keeping certain players and the loans they brought in certainly has a dice roll feel to it. Those deadline day deals won't be cheap as far as loans go. Should they not go up this year, I suspect we won't be seeing international goalkeepers from Roma and players on the very fringes of Premier League teams coming in. Not sure it was their choice to keep the players... suspect that there was no market for many of them and very limited demand for the ones that were wanted ( didn't see many other teams in for Rambo and only arsenal wantine iceberg)
Plonk
In fact only Arsenal, a club in apparent disarray, were the only ones interested in any of their players, other alleged £6m bid for jebend who then went on loan to Burton???
