For some reason I thought he was an ex Arsenal youth.

Turns out he wasn't - So no idea who he is or who I'm even thinking of!

Kieran Gibbs?

To be honest I don't think he's a bad signing for them, however another left footed centre midfield like Hourihane. Must be the end for Fleck and Freeman.

What happened to all the parachute money?

They spent it on Berge, Brewster and everyone else who aren't any good. They borrowed against future parachute money they may get, so any money they do get, will go to pay that back.

So keeper wise on the rumour front, they’ve gone from a 40 year old out of contract, to a six million signing from Roma ( who can now leave on loan for no fee) to some Serbian I’ve never heard of to smithies on loan from Cardiff.

Wonder which one they will get?

In my opinion, they should keep Verrips and play him every week.

They got Olsson in from Roma.

So I think that's four signings in total, all on loan.

Still - they've freshned up what was a very stale squad.

Sounds like deal is off for the Barcelona lad they were meant to be signing. Think Olsen and Gibbs White are good signings to be fair. As I've said before, regarding Hourihane, my opinion he's player you'de have loved in your team a few years ago but I think he's slowly declined in years gone by, Swansea fans weren't particularly keen on getting him back after his loan spell there.

These new faces and I'm very surprised they didn't bring in a striker.

I'd probably see Hourihane as an upgrade on the hapless Norwood.

Gibbs White will probably add some legs into the midfield, though he hasn't played all that much for a 21 year old.

They clearly needed a keeper and Olsson is an upgrade on what was left after Ramsdale departed.

Davies is a solid defender at this level, but I'd not say much more than that.

Still not sure they've got the pace in their team to play like Jokanovic did at Fulham.

Olsen was decent at Everton last year.

Gibbs-White has been touted as a potential star for years and never kicked on.

Both could be good signings for them but until their strikers start scoring they will struggle. Still think they'll finish top six though.
