Think it’s above Moore’s remit to sort our academy out. Needs a huge infrastructure overhaul.

I think one of Moore’s tasks long term

is to sort out the academy and this is one of the reasons he got the job. WBA had one of the best academies in the country when Moore was there and he’ll feel quite rightly IMO that this can be replicated here?

There will be uproar if they sell Jebbison.

They're all squealing for "Jeb" to be their main striker.

Score a couple of goals and get a stand named after him.

The Jeb End has a certain ring to it..

Difference being that Norwich had a relatively young squad, stuck to their wage structure and principles and with the same manager and added more quality to their squad.

The pigs... Well fill in the blanks 😂😂

Indeed, the way Utd went about their business last season was very strange and has left them reeling. What were they doing for the last 3 months of the season? Heckingbottom was never getting the job full-time, the guy who used to be Eddie Howe's assistant at Bournemouth before failing as their manager tagged along for some work experience.

The signings - Berge, a decent player but clearly not suited to the style that had brought them success to that point. Brewster - good for Swansea but totally unproven at top level was always a gamble on that kind of money, don't buy the investing in the future line that they came out with when he didn't hit the ground running - they didn't pay £23M for a striker when in the PL in the belief he would be good for them in a few years time.

I wouldn't say the majority of their squad are past it but I would say they look unsurprisingly disillusioned. A fair few of them went from the 3rd division to top half of the PL playing one way and had only had that kind of success with one manager playing that style, they were clearly performing as a team above the level of their individual parts and may struggle to get that back again.

Berge

Brewster's the one referred to on here as 5 touches isn't he? The £23M striker who could barely get a game, or a touch when he came on in the PL.
