The Wilderless Years

Recommended Posts

With the squad they’ve got, they’re in a right pickle either way.

If project clearaahht begins 3 games in to the season, they’re either going to pay over the odds because clubs don’t want to sell their best players with 2 weeks of the transfer window left, or sign absolute bobbar because most decent available players will have already moved… and of course they’ve wasted their pre-season now, so anyone daft enough to join them will have to get to know their teammates and get match fit when there are points to play for.

Alternatively, they keep the bus driver’s ageing players who’ve been losing every week for a season and a half… now with the addition of a keeper who appears to be even worse than Ramsdale… and hope for the best.

So, hang on - £24m on a f*cking bench keeper?!?!

They could put a kid on the bench as sub keeper and he may get used for a few minutes every 10 seasons or so

£24m for somebody to sit on the bench?!?!?!

Strange how the bus driver hasnt got a job. How longs he been gone now? 6,7,7 months?

Wonder if hes waiting to be asked back, when this guy walks?

Doubt the Prince would even entertain the idea of it. Its like Simon Jordan was saying on talksport last week, when they were discussing Wilder and still been out of management.

The fact that, particularly to the end of his time at Utd, he never accepted responsibility for any of his mistakes, someone else always got blamed, and mainly that he basically bad mouthed the club's owners lack of backing despite spending millions on complete trash.

As Jordan said that sort of stuff and behaviour has shown Wilder in a different light and that many chairmen/owners will have been put off by this hence why he isn't in demand as many expected.

Bless him he wore his piggy shirt with the premier league arm patches on too.

Let’s everyone know they are one of the big boys.

Joking aside, that kind of mentaliy is much of their problem. 60 million pound players (although vasly overinflated) on the bench, yet still  the aging Mcgoldrick still their best player. Even bloody Billy Blunt still kicking a ball, and many of them all think that despite one lucky season in the premier league and one disaster, that they deserve & should be there. That manager has got one hell of a problem with that side. It needs breaking and rebuilding. And we know better than most how difficul that can be.

And if reports are to believed that they have already borrowed against future "failure payments" then they are in the doo doo big time.

I don’t want to help the Scrubbers but you’d play Brewster and McBurnie and just stick with them wouldn’t you?

And if that didn't work..... they have nowhere to go..... so basically they have nowhere to go..lol

Can't sell their £60m strike force, so have to play them even though they can't score..... brilliant
