The Wilderless Years

Recommended Posts

John Lundstram has just played in a European final and was instrumental in them getting there. Scored the decisive goal in the semi.

Joint lowest valuation on that list, though. Maybe Rangers should have spent the extra £90m on Morrison, O'Connell and Robinson to get them over the line.

What the actual chuffing hell.

These players did incredibly well under Wilder. But that was very much down to the manager and the environment he created. Fair play to them, but I think it’s fair to say most are solid Championship pros who overachieved for a couple of years.

It's hilarious.

Also little consideration for the ages of most of these players.

A lot of them (when this genius cobbled together that list) were pushing or in their 30s.

To be fair it’s probably just a young lad getting a bit carried away.

But still, absolutely wild.

I genuinely don't even know who Robinson is/was.

Turns out they had two... so I'm not sure which he is on about.

One is still there, played for Forest.

One is the guy who is now at WBA. They swapped him for Burke.

They really did go through a four or so year period of drinking the Wilder Kool-Aid didn't they.

Might have to rename him Reverend Pig Jones.

To be fair, some of our fans would’ve been exactly the same in that situation.

Absolutely glorious how quickly things went south though, especially after burning all their money on absolute shíte. I know our situation is crap but imagine if they were an established PL club now, it’d be a complete nightmare

We need a title for the coming season. I'm torn between a witty one as put forward earlier in the thread or just calling it 'pigs'. It's blunt and to the point.
