If you stop thinking with your blue tinted specs, united, Leeds and Wednesday in the premier league would be amazing

Yes, but I'd like us to be up there first so we could "welcome them"

They are with a shot, albeit it's a just a shot.

Forest win that 2-0 and it's game over.

Still - you'd have to fancy Forest with how strong they have been at the City Ground this season.

Politely disagree. I teach at a school that’s not strongly one team or another, but wealthy parents happy to take their kids where they want.

It may seem anathema to us but there’s a floating support who can be swayed to the better / more accessible team.

Know a few Sheffield kids/families like this.

Wonder if this happened in our favour in the early 90s

Not quite the same.

They are going away from home. We were bringing Sunderland back to Hillsborough.

Congrats to the Pigs on the attendance for their biggest home game of the season - they came within three thousand of matching ours. Tremendous effort from our little neighbours. Bless!

Id rather keep my blue n white glasses on, thank you. Us being top tier and them and dirties struggling in 4th tier would be AMAZING.

why on earth would any wednesdayite want to see THEM promoted and doing well.

PS you dont have to reply as i will completely and utterly disagree and be totally confused how you or anyone could justify it

Only an idiot wouldn’t see a steel city premier league derby as a good thing

any of you who can’t work that out are pathetic and stupid

If we were guaranteed to win, and finish above them, then yes.

I’m old enough to remember the top flight derbies in the 90s. We had such a superior team but did poorly. They were horrible.

Remember people saying this when they were in the 3rd ,they got their wish and we got whipped in our own backyard !

And I think you are being generous wanting them in the 4th tier ( again) !

Out of business would be great

I almost want them to go up to put added pressure on us to get out this league

we’re almost apathetic to being in this division - maybe them being in the premier league would give us a kick up the bum

We've only been in this league a few months, and we have just had 2 sell out crowds to will us to get out of it ,we failed and folk are devastated and you reckon apathy is setting in?

Tell me how utd being in the prem will make our players try any harder , last time they were in the prem we were relegated!!

Jesus

they’re so weird

why are they always SO weird

I’d say we suffer from being too cute and soft, camp looking owl logo, winning the fair play award while being relegated.

then youve got them - battle of brammal lane, and a bloody sword logo.

I like our club for its uniqueness but then I never understand

I take it all back, fk em hope they end up in the 4th again
