Also, I can’t watch them and not laugh out loud at the thought they have spent upwards of £120m on transfer fees alone in the past 3 seasons. And ended up with that squad.

£120m+ garymegson

I reckon some of those lads will be on £40 k a week. lol

It's a real wonder why teams that are 6th to 10th in the league don't win every week isn't it....

It's almost like mid table teams aren't consistent - even upper mid table ones

Strange...

Its not that they are inconsistant of late. Their form is relegation standard

All the teams in that mix go through similar

Looked like Boro were nailed on - now they're floundering

QPR were right in the mix for auto's not too long ago now they aren't even in the play-offs

Forest were nowhere not too long back

It just takes one of those teams to hit something approaching consistent decent form and they have cracked it

The thing what has hit the pigs this season is the injuries they seem to be getting. Lets be reyt when Wilder was there it was very rare they got many injuries particularly to key players. They were very fortunate enough to be able to field pretty much the same team week in/week out and that team was well drilled into the philosophy and style of play hence why they got relative success.

The likes of McGoldrick were key to that team and with players like him out it is no coincidence they haven't been getting as many points as expected. Same with Billy the pig, had he been playing recently you wouldn't have been surprised to see them win games like today with him bagging the winner.

It seems they know they haven't got replacements for these key players, the lad Jebbison hasnt looked anywhere near a threat for example. It seems Gibbs White has carried them alot in many games but he isnt a striker.

Be very interesting if they stay in the Championship next season and with the rumours of major budget cuts on the wages.

Amazing isn’t it hat every time they get in the play offs, it’s that worst championship standard ever. We must just be really unlucky that the championship is so good every time we’re in it

Or is that just rounduns ?

Lucky shits that the teams chasing the play offs have been woeful. Any other league if 6th place picks up 2 points out of 9, or 5 out of 15, they'd drop out of the playoffs easily and be over taken by at least 1 team. But Blackburn and Boro are on their arses, Boro getting 1 point from 12 and Blackburn 2 from 15. All hopes could be on QPR to beat them at Loftus Road, or for Millwall to go on a mad run of form and get themselves in there. Consolation for us is if they get in the playoffs, it'll be in 6th, so they'll play Forest in the semi
