The Wilderless Years

I saw Bristol City a few weeks back in the flesh against Cov.

They were one of the worst teams I've seen in a long time.

Managed to lose against ten man Cov despite going ahead twice. Cov absolutely dominated from start to finish.

They can consider themselves very lucky for Derby and Reading’s deductions.

I’ll hold my hands up too - I wanted Pearson as our manager.

They were so bad.

Cov were terrific tbf and are one of the teams to watch in the Champ this season, but I can't recall the last time I saw a team get so dominated by another who had 10 men.

If memory serves me correct, the lad got sent off in the first half too, so they had a 50 or so minutes and managed to get played off the park.

Whatever it is that Pearson once had at Hull, Leicester etc., is long gone.

QPR winning tonight means they’re 7 points off the playoffs.

A new manager bounce under “Hecky” will probably mean they won’t be dragged into a relegation fight but as long as they don’t go up, they’ll at least lose £100m and sticking that onto an £86m debt won’t bode well for the following season.

Chances are they will weaken their squad in January aswell.  He will have them around mid table still though, easily.
