Some of it is speculative, as players who missed most of a season could turn out to be back their best, or might spend the next couple of years limping around on one leg till their contract runs out Premier league quality No one. We don't have a single player that could make it even in a team that was struggling against relegation Top half Championship A few of these I think. Bannan, Luongo, Iorfa, Dunkley, Windass Bottom half championship Palmer, Patterson, Hutchinson, Hunt Top half League one Who knows. Hopefully some of the youth will show themselves to be at this level. I didn't even care to speculate on the people who have come in except Hunt. Or Green Dunkley - top half championship

Spent most of last season injured then gave away the penalty to level things up and send us down vs Derby. Agreed-L1 at best. Said he wanted to achieve things with the club when he arrived. Aside from being type-cast as being part of one of the worst squads and helping us get relegated, not sure what value he has added so far.

They'll stand out, but it might not be obvious how good they are because they don't have the support around them. Looking at the championship, even more of the teams there have players that can make it. Wednesday failing to have anyone of that quality just emphasizes even more how poor the rectuitment has been. There may be enough players who can perform well at Div1 level to challenge for promotion, if no one gets injured or goes through poor form, but it will be a relegation fodder side that goes up
prowl
Iorfa is top half Championship if he hasn't lost something because of his injury. Bannan I'm not sure about, on his day he is ,if you build the side round him. You need the right players to compensate for his defects. If you put him in a 2 man midfield you have a one man midfield when you lose the ball because Bannon offers nothing defensively. This has been our downfall for ages. CC did the best by putting Bannan on the wing, Anyway Bannan might be top half Championship but I'm not convinced. Windass is top half Championship. He was good even with the rest of the team not giving a F. Play him with good players and he will shine. Luongo, mid table Championship if fit. The rest are league one based on last season, there were extenuating circumstances though. They might prove themselves capable if they ever get away from this club and our owner.
airborne_rat_of_s6
L1 will never have seen a wafty corner from Bannan before. Deadly weapon.

Orlando_Trustful
Dunkley a top half champ player I would only say Bannan, Iorfa on top form and possibly Windass are decent Champ players. I don't think there would be any Championship fans who would be happy signing the likes of Hutch, Luongo, Palmer, Paterson etc.

Kopparberg
I have little faith in this cobbled together bunch. Even if there was lots of talent in the squad, football isn’t won on paper. Teams with more desire and less talent will turn us over if we’re not careful. 1
ashamanic
4 games in and we haven’t seen Corbenau, Gibson or Sow and probably to early for most of the others, but Adeniran so far looks like he could do a job for a standard top half championship player - if he continues to develop, that is at least one area where we wouldn’t need to bring in an upgrade after any potential promotion.
