@YesWeCrann is this a normal transfer then, i.e. we don’t have to pay his wages up as was discussed a few weeks ago?

Not as far as I'm aware, no. Just a normal transfer. He tried to get out based on unpaid wages etc. but looks like it was all put to bed by agreeing a fee that was agreeable for all parties.

If he is being paid less than we paid him he maybe entitled to the difference or agreed compensation. But I think this becomes invalid as he wants out of the club.( he may have to submit a transfer request for him to be classed as officially wanting out though)

Seemed like a nice enough bloke but I thought he was utterly hopeless after a decent start.

He could play a bit, but he was prone to making bad decisions and he had zero pace.

Done well to get anything for him. Started okay, playing left of two centre halves in a back four. Then was absolute garbage for the rest of his time at Hillsborough. Made too many errors, positional sense was shocking and couldn’t turn on a car park.
Good luck to him for the future though
