oneeyedmilkman
I don't think 300k for a loan is out of this world, as it'd be 30k a month roughly. That said I don't think any club should have to pay on top of the wages to loan a keeper who is highly likely to get a lot of game time they otherwise wouldn't get. I'd be looking at Palmer at West brom or maybe (over-ambitiously) Rodak at Fulham, who's now probably behind Fabricio and Gazzaniga.
Kelfin Platz
A league one club paying £300,000 for a loan would be somewhat extravagant. I'd rather buy someone instead, there must be a decent goalie about for that price.

Yes, they are one of the best run clubs from a financial perspective. Their manager can’t be praised enough for keeping them in the league year in year out with the limited resources he’s given. I suspect he will be on his way in a couple of seasons, needs another challenge.

Be interesting to see what happens to them now they've been bought out and laden with debt like the Glazers did with Man Utd

Why people think Burnleys 3rd choice keeper is worth a 300k loan fee I really don't get. I agree. He had a bad patch at Leeds and ended up getting dropped by Bielsa and then ended up at Burnley. He's only played a couple of games in the last two years for Buenley and plays all his football for Northern Ireland. Can he have improved without playing? People talking as though he would be a world beater.

Ellis Rimmer
£300k is unlikely to buy a decent goalie. They are talking 30M for Ramsdale
DeBilde'sTea
Surely Burnely don't need the money? Go elsewhere for a keeper and use that money on a striker

Mick70
Tbh honest as much as I want a new keeper think I’d rather spend wotever left in budget on 2 strikers and go with the two keepers we have ? We’ll struggle to get either out on loan and desperately need some quality up top? Yes we need both to stop dropping the clangers they do but we’ll drop a bigger clanger if we don’t address the problem we have had since fletcher and co left ?

I just can’t face watching a striker free season, and can’t have another year of endlessly hearing my dad tell me over and over now we shouldn’t have let Nuhiu go. kristmace
300k is just the loan fee and won't include wages. Might not be far off from £1m once wages are thrown in, so it's a no from me. We'd be better off with a free transfer like Frank Fielding or Jamal Blackman.
