Is he off?

Surely not another wage problem???

He's without a doubt the best striker at the club and hes our only chance of getting near top 6 but we've got no chance of keeping hold with this shitshow

More likely not good news on the injury front

With or without him we're not near the top 6. But undoubtedly he's a big miss and even mid table could be a struggle. I expect us to go down though.

Obviously if it’s a long term injury then it’s not good as he is taking up a wage. 🤞 it’s not too serious. Oddly depending on the length of the injury we might benefit. I thought he was going to be leaving before the transfer deadline past but if his injury goes through to September then that might keep him at the club for the first half of the season.

Couple of weeks away and all we have is Callum Paterson. The last proper striker we signed was 4 and 1/2 years ago, correct me if I'm wrong.

Absolutely astounding.

And they’re not even proper strikers! Paterson is a make shift striker and was played at right back and in midfield last season.

Windass can play off the shoulder but I’d say he’s more of a Number 10 or wide of a three.

It’s ridiculous how we’ve failed to address this area yet.

We won't be anywhere near the top six regardless of what happens with Windass.

This season SHOULD be about getting the club's wage bill under control to get the EFL off our back and preventing us from falling any further down the pyramid.

Who the fizz knows what Chansiri will do, though.

You won't find a club in professional football that hasn't signed a striker for 4.5 years.

We’ve come a long way from arguing if Forrestieri should play upfront or wide left or not, so we can accommodate Fletcher, Joao, Hooper and Nuhiu, while discussing the merits of signing Rhodes instead of giving Winnall a proper shot.

I’d take any of them on one leg at the minute.

In league one you have every chance of finishing top 6 area with a 20 goal a season striker. Theres been some serious crap in and around there in previous seasons all because they've got a player who can score
