4evaowl Posted July 27, 2021 Share Posted July 27, 2021 Because we don't know enough about how good the newer and younger players really are, it's hard to judge but that squad looks way off a promotion team (on paper). If DM can get this squad up he'll be a miracle worker. That said, add two decent strikers to that group and it could completely change things. Holmowl Posted July 27, 2021 Share Posted July 27, 2021 It’s simple. The squad is good for this level, until you look at the two names in the frame at striker. Neither Paterson nor Windass are strikers. If each plays 6-8 games as a striker, fine. If either are our first choice we are going nowhere. We need one minimum and two ideally proper strikers.
