In our current position, we're going to have to take some risks of that nature, and I've no problem with that. But when the opportunity arises to add proven experience (and still only 30-years old) to the squad, we simply have to take it.

Was glad to see the back of him and his terrible final balls 2 years ago so am hardly overjoyed to see him back. Ok for league 1 and similar to most of our signings in the last 3 years- free transfers without ambition. Christ, I’m sure some people’s eyes are painted on No improvement on Palmer
vulva
My abiding memory of Hunt is the number of times he came off injured. When fit, he’s a good signing. Quite a large % of fans still fail to grasp where we are as a club. Delusional. 2

Palmer has definitely got better and you could say Hunt has arguably got worse.
BIG D
Hunt is clearly a better player than Palmer and it appears the manager agrees.
SiJ
Tbf, it means Palmer can switch over to LB if required where he's often done a solid job.

Wouldn’t want to see him play there for a full season tbh.. we need a left back unless we’re going with that kid from Huddersfield

Hunt is a better player, that’s why he kept Palmer out the team for the entirety of the 3 years he was here
Orlando_Trustful
Happy with this signing. Some experience and he knows the club. If Palmer can adapt to LB or the right side of a back 3 then this works out well.
bigash_swfc
Hunt is a better RB than Palmer. Hunt & Wallace down our right side was a joy to watch. They gave it everything. I haven't seen Palmer link up with anyone like they did. Palmer has attributes you wouldn't leave out of a League One starting 11 aswell, with his height and strength. Jaden Brown has to prove himself.
Think tank
Pleased with the signing. I always preferred Hunt to Palmer and at this level I am sure he will do well. Contract length is sensible too, which is a good sign.

It's always good to have options, I suppose.

markg
Really happy with this. Seems a great character and i really liked him first time around. I think people are under estimating his defensive qualities, i thought he was very steady, especially given that under Carlos, the full backs were expected to do everything. Little wonder that Hunt and Pudil looked knackered half the time and struggled towards the end of seasons.
