SWFC to re-sign Jack Hunt

He's only 30.

He's played most of his time in the Champ but has experience of League One.

He's been here before, knows the place, crowd, some of the players and he's a good pro who would have likely been on the radar of a few Champ clubs.

If any other club in League One had picked him up, we'd have been saying what a good signing.

Yes, but EVERYONE slated him before.

Are we under the same contract restrictions as Derby county thats another signing with no contract length. DCFC cannot sign anyone over 1 yr deals are we in the same mess?

A good signing.

Now if this means Palmer moves to leftback or takes Borner's place at left centre-back then great.

If it means Palmer is sold now then fine. Hunt as good for a replacement.

But what won't be ok is if Palmer now sits on the bench for 30 games this season.

People must realise the defence was actually a bit light anyway in terms of numbers.

Palmer, Dunkley, Iorfa, Hutchinson plus unproven Brown. The rest are all youth. Not much that over a 50+ game season.
